Encourage yourself!

These smiles certainly brighten any day! :)

This lovely saturday morning, I was chatting with a dear friend.  She was having a bit of a rough time and I began to encourage her.  The oddest thing happened when I left that phone conversation...I was encouraged. I felt more in love with Jesus than I did prior getting on the phone with her.  And that carried me through the entire day! Often times when we are going through rough times we begin to look inwardly.  We tend to enjoy "licking our wounds".  Who would have thought the simple act of helping another would birth such a response in my own heart?

So my little advice for today...call someone and encourage them, it may really end up helping you! :)
